kids schoolLa Maison Des Enfants is a French Immersion Preschool, Kindergarten for children ages 3 to 6. We have a single classroom of no more than 14 students. All instruction will be in French and taught by two native-speaking teachers, for a ratio of no more than 7 students per teacher. Only French will be spoken around the children during school.

Please consider donating to help expand the program, retain amazing teachers and provide needs-based scholarships for students. Designate “French Immersion Program” under Special Instructions. Thank you!

Physical Exercise

We adhere to the curriculum of the world-renowned French Ministry of Education. Our education emphasizes fun, respect, good manners, arts, music, physical exercise, and good food.

All children must be potty-trained prior to attending. Children applying for first grade must be French speaking.

The school is located on the campus of The University of Utah at the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts & Education Complex, 1721 Campus Center Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84112.

2017-2018 Schedule Overview:

The school meets Monday through Friday.

Morning Program                            

Drop-Off: 8:30-9:00 a.m.
Class: 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Pick-Up: 12:30-1:00 p.m.

Extended Day Program           

Drop-Off: 8:30-9:00 a.m.
Class: 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Pick-Up: 2:30-3:00 p.m.

Kindergarten Program            

Drop-Off: 8:30-9:00 a.m.
Class: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Pick-Up: 2:30-3:00 p.m.

Registration Process for the 2018-2019 school year:

Register for the FIP Open House on Saturday, January 27, 2018 starting at 2:30pm! Applications will become available starting January 27, 2018.

An informal meeting is required before applying for the program. A sign-up sheet will be posted at the open house for all interested families. If you are unable to attend the open house but would still like to schedule a meeting, please email
