Lost or Stolen Items:Children's Dance Theatre/Virginia Tanner Creative Dance Program cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items.

CDT Dues:CDT dues will no longer be billed separately. They are included in the tuition.

Parent Responsibilities:CDT is a family commitment. The accomplishments of the program depend upon the cooperation and voluntary efforts of parents, guardians and friends of CDT. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of CDT dancers agree to:
    - Volunteer 20 hours (per family) annually to CDT. Please record your hours using the online Parent Volunteer Report Form by June 30th. Volunteer hours are reported to granting agencies and foundations when requesting support.
    - Pay tuition and dues in full by the first class meeting.
    - Ensure that dancers attend class regularly and on time. Notify the studio prior to class to report any absences and/or pertinent medical conditions.

Dancer Responsibilities:Children's Dance Theatre members agree it is a privilege to be a member of the Company and that this a privilege earned continually. With this in mind, the faculty has determined that CDT dancers will be evaluated each session in the following areas:
    - Attendance: Dancers need to be in class each week. They need to arrive on time and notify the teacher in advance if they must be excused or if they want to be tardy. To get a message to a faculty member on a CDT night, dancers must call the office before 5 pm. After 5 pm, you will be able to leave a voicemail message.
    - Attitude: CDT dancers respect their teachers, their peers, the staff, and the studio. When dancers come into the studio early, they should warm up, improvise, or work on dances.
    - Technical and Creative Avility: CDT dancers are selected for their skill as dancers and their ability to work well with their teachers and peers. Dancers need to maintain a high level of excellence.
    - Appearance as dancers: We work with dancers on physical conditioning and maintenance of a healthy body. Dancers must come to class in clean leotards and tights. NO OUTER WEAR! Hair should be pulled back off the face.

Re-Audition Information: Because CDT is a performing company with year round performance commitments, we require company members to train and maintain excellence. All CDT dancers who did not take a summer class must re-audition. The re-audition workshop is in August and must be registered for on the CDT Summer Schedule page. Please bring a two minute solo to audition!

Withdrawal Policy: Withdrawals and refund requests must be made by the parent(s) or guardian(s) to the studio office. 100% less a $10 processing fee by the first day of class. After the first day of class refunds will be made on a case by case basis.

Parking Information: All university parking is regulated year round, including University breaks as noted below.
-The area directly in front of the studio is a red no-parking zone and parking there creates a safety hazard for the children. Fire lanes and disabled parking are enforced 24 hours every day of the year. Violators will be ticketed by campus police.
-Lot #23 on the east and north sides of the studio is enforced Monday through Friday from 7 am to 6 pm except state/national holidays. A University yearly or monthly permit is required. Parents may purchase a monthly $5.50 permit in the Tanner Dance office Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
-Meters are available on the north and northwest sides of the building and are monitored Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm except state/national holidays.
-Please remember to “curb your carbon”; turn your car off after 10 seconds and avoid drop-off and pick-up idling.
